The total investment of the first phase of the project is 24.5 billion yuan. It is the largest single investment industrial project since the founding of Shenzhen. It is also the first generation of LCD panel production line in China that relies entirely on independent innovation. The first phase of the project G8.5 TFT-LCD production line includes the whole process of array, color film, boxing and module. The size of the glass substrate is 2200mm × 2500mm. Its main products are 28, 32, 48, 49 and 55-inch LCD panels. The design production capacity is 100,000 glass substrates per month. It produces about 17.5 million TV modules. The foundation stone of the first phase of the project was officially laid in March 2010 and put into production in August 2011. It took only 17 months for Huaxing to complete and put into operation, and the construction speed exceeded that of similar projects at home and abroad. In the process of project construction, by continuously optimizing the production process and planning and design, the actual fixed asset investment has saved about 2 billion yuan compared with the total investment of the researchable caliber budget. Compared with projects of the same scale at home and abroad, while maintaining the fastest construction speed, it has achieved the most economical investment.

After commissioning, the production capacity climbed rapidly: in September 2012, it reached a full capacity with a monthly output of 100,000 substrates. Huaxing climbed 3 months ahead of schedule, setting the fastest record in the industry. Through continuous optimization of production lines and processes, the production capacity continues to reach a new high. At present, the monthly production capacity has reached 1 40,000 pieces, with 40% super design capability. In terms of yield, since September 2012, the comprehensive yield of products has exceeded 95%, close to the industry benchmark level. The rapid improvement of production capacity and yield marks the phased success of the Huaxing project. Huaxing has become an international first-class LCD panel enterprise with the largest single-line production capacity of G8.5 across the Straits. The construction of Huaxing project also reflects "Shenzhen Speed" and "Shenzhen Quality" again.

Following the good operation of the first phase and firmly occupying the leading position in the domestic tablet display industry, the second phase of Huaxing Optoelectronics project officially began on November 16, 2013. The second phase of the project will be built on reserved land in Guangming Factory, with a total investment of 24.4 billion yuan, with a design monthly production capacity of 100,000 glass substrates, of which 70,000 are amorphous silicone semiconductor glass substrates and 30,000 are oxide semiconductor glass substrates (including some AMOLED). The construction cycle of the project is expected to be 17 months, and it is scheduled to be put into production in May 2015. The company is committed to the development of new products and technologies. The development of many new products and technologies such as GOA, COA, Cu process, IGZO, AMOLED, LTPS and even surface display has achieved substantive results, and will be fully introduced into the second phase of the project.

With the outbreak of the mobile Internet leading the small and medium-sized intelligent terminal market, the market demand for small and medium-sized panels has grown rapidly. With the popularity of global 3G networks, 4G networks have entered the peak of construction, and the mobile Internet will bring people a revolution to change their lifestyles. In the overall flat panel display market, the sales proportion of small and medium-sized panels will increase from 27% in 2012 to 40% in 2018, with broad market prospects. In order to further enhance competitiveness, Huaxing Optoelectronics actively laid out small and medium-sized displays. On September 16, 2014, Huaxing Optoelectronics and Hubei Science and Technology Investment Group Co., Ltd. jointly funded the construction of the sixth-generation LTPS (OXIDE) LCD/AMOLED display panel production line in Zuolingzheng, Optical Valley, Wuhan. Start construction. . The total investment of the project is 16 billion yuan, of which each side accounts for 50%; the project design production capacity is 30,000 pieces/month, and the product is positioned as a high-end small and medium-sized tablet display, producing 3-7-inch display modules for mobile phones and 6-12-inch display modules for tablets; the construction cycle of the project is 26 months, and it is expected to be mass-produced by the end of 2016; After delivery, about 88 million small and medium-sized display panels or modules will be produced, with an output value of more than 10 billion yuan. Huaxing Optoelectronics's products will cover TV panels and mobile panels throughout the line, and its competitiveness will be further improved.
